Statistics, data collection and analysis

The course leaders will aim to give delegates a theoretical and practical understanding of the statistical principals involved in the design, usage and testing of radiation detectors.

Course Description

This module is aimed at those working in the nuclear industry and in any industrial sector where there is a requirement for radiation detection. Delegates are likely to be early/mid-career and seeking progression. By the end of the course delegates will have a comprehensive understanding of, experiment errors, probability and statistics, Monte Carlo metods and quality assurance.
