Structured around the official HSK 1 standard textbook, this course ensures alignment with internationally recognised proficiency standards. By the end of the program, you'll be equipped with the foundational skills to navigate everyday conversations and understand elementary Chinese contexts.

Embark on an enriching linguistic journey with our "Upper Beginner's Chinese" course offered by the Liverpool Confucius Institute. Designed to cater to learners eager to delve deeper into the captivating realm of Chinese language and culture, this course is meticulously crafted to elevate your proficiency from foundational to conversational levels.

Structured around the official HSK 2 standard textbook, this course ensures alignment with internationally recognised proficiency standards.

Embark on a transformative linguistic journey with our Intermediate Chinese Part I: HSK 3A course offered by Liverpool Confucius Institute. Designed for learners ready to take their Mandarin proficiency to the next level, this comprehensive program is tailored to equip you with the skills and confidence to navigate a wide range of real-life situations with ease.

HSK 3 is split into two parts. This course maps to HSK 3A. HSK 3B will be taught in the next semester.

This online course consists of 20 sessions taught over 10 weeks (1.5hx2 sessions /week). This module is the second half of the third level of the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi/Chinese Proficiency Test) qualification. By the end of this module, you will have the ability to have more complex interactions and be able to express opinions in Mandarin Chinese. You will also have learned 300 new words, rounding up your total vocabulary to 600 words in Mandarin. This course, plus HSK3a will prepare you to take the HSK3  test if you wish to do so. Regardless, you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Tailored for learners seeking to achieve proficiency at the HSK 4 level and beyond, this comprehensive program is designed to equip you with the linguistic skills and cultural insights needed to thrive in Mandarin-speaking environments.

HSK 4 is split into two parts. This course maps to HSK 4A. HSK 4B will also be taught this semester.
