The 11th Congress on Tidal Dynamics and Sedimentology (TIDALITES) will be held at the University of Liverpool from September 9-11, 2025. This exciting event will bring together leading experts from a wide range of disciplines, including sedimentology, oceanography, coastal engineering, morphodynamics, and tidal energy. The congress aims to foster vibrant scientific exchange between communities that often operate independently, creating unique opportunities for collaboration and advancing our understanding of tidal systems. ABSTRACT UPLOAD: You should use this TEMPLATE for your abstract and upload it using this LINK after you have registered and no later than June 12th, 2025. Text must be in English and no longer than 400 words, excluding title, authors, affiliation, figure caption and references. Abstracts can include one figure (res. 400 dpi) with caption. The total length of the abstract (including the figure) should not exceed one A4 page. Please indicate the presenting author in the author list by using an asterisk (*) next to their name. When uploading the file through the LINK, you will be prompted to add a name. At that stage, please enter the name of the presenting author.

About the GDSL The Geographic Data Science School is brought to you by the Geographic Data Science Lab (GDSL). The GDSL is a premier research group working at the intersection of geography and data science. Multidisciplinary in nature, research in the lab spans across spatial analysis, statistics, population science, machine learning, urban mobility, and computer science. The lab and its members are involved in doctoral training, public speaking series, open and accessible data and research; they engage in broader policy discussions with the community, contributing to academic and non-academic research-based best practices. Candidate Background and Requirements Applicants should have some graduate training in quantitative geography or relative discipline (economics, computer science, engineering, etc.). Basic working knowledge of Python or other appropriate coding languages is strongly recommended. The Course material will be provided. Students are required to bring their laptop; PCs will not be provided.
