The 2025 Annual General Meeting will take place on 23rd and 24th July, with full-day meetings scheduled for each day. On both days, there will be networking evening dinners. 

Accommodation is available on campus and close to the venue, links will be uploaded on the UK-ICN website.

UK-International Coronavirus Network Early Career Reaseacher Meeting

Early Career Researcher (ECR) Meeting, Tuesday 22^nd July 2025

Please join us for our second ECR conference! This will be an ECR-specific event organised to promote coronavirus researchers at various career stages. In advance of the 2025 AGM we are hosting an ECR specific day exclusively for ECR members of the UK-ICN. The discussed topics will fit within the UK-ICN research themes, with the sessions containing a mixture of topics. We will end the day with a careers panel and Q&A session to encourage discussion of available careers opportunities to ECRs. Our aim is to provide a friendly environment for delegates to practice presenting their work, with priority given to less experienced members of the network to present and chair alongside more experienced members.  

You must fit these criteria to be considered an ECR: 

• Undergraduate, masters, post-graduate students and researchers/technicians

• Within 10 years of obtaining their PhD – special consideration is given to those who have undertaken a career break.

• Not currently employed in a tenured or permanent post
