This module gives an introduction to radiation merging pratical problems with industry standard transport codes in order to give a good understanding of the requirements for radiation shielding.

The course leaders will aim to give delegates a theoretical and practical understanding of the statistical principals involved in the design, usage and testing of radiation detectors.
