Description

This course examines the astonishing visual record/history of the people of Liverpool’s involvement in various wars and conflicts beginning with the American Wars of Independence in 1775 and the loss of the American colonies, seen at the time as a potentially devastating blow for Liverpool trade and a cause of consternation for the Port’s Royalists.
