Upper Elementary Children’s Mandarin

LCI is launching an in-person, 10-week Mandarin Chinese language (simplified characters) course to school-age children on Friday evenings.

Course Description

The language class is suitable for all primary school students aged 6-10 years old in the Liverpool area.

Using the textbook "YCT 3", students will gain a good foundation in Chinese Mandarin language. They will master the pinyin system, be able to read 373 commonly used Chinese characters, 12 commonly used sentences, learn basic common Chinese characters and radicals, practice their Chinese writing skills and improve their Chinese expression skills.

All teaching will take place at 126 Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L69 3GR, between 24th January - 4th April 2025 at 4:30-6pm. There will be no class during half-term (21st February 2025).

Please note that, due to safeguarding policies, parents/guardians must remain in the LCI Space for the duration of each lesson.
