Join Us for the New Small Animal Clinical Club Evenings

We’re excited to invite you to our new series of Small Animal Clinical Club Evenings, hosted by the Small Animal Teaching Hospital and the Veterinary Postgraduate Unit.

🗓️ When: Once a month from September to July (no sessions in January or August)
🕡 Time: Buffet and refreshments from 6:30 PM, followed by the lecture at 7:00 PM
📍 Where: Leahurst House, Leahurst Campus, CH64 7TE

These evenings will feature a range of informative and engaging lectures delivered by expert teams from across the hospital, offering insights into the latest in small animal clinical practice.

🔍 Each session includes:

• A networking buffet

• A clinical lecture on a topical subject

• An optional guided tour of the hospital

Whether you're a practicing vet, a student, or simply passionate about small animal care, these evenings are a great way to stay informed, ask questions, and connect with fellow professionals.

Wednesday 03 September - Keeping Calm: Optimizing Canine Seizure Control

During this CPD evening we will focus on highlighting the most common pitfalls encountered during seizure management in dogs and cats and how to overcome them. This short session aims to review best practice when treating epileptics and will use clinical cases to demonstrate and help grasp decision making.

The evening will take place Leahurst House, Leahurst Campus, CH64 7TE Registration from 6.30pm including buffet and refreshments.  Lectures to start at 7pm
