Join Us for the New Small Animal Clinical Club Evenings

We’re excited to invite you to our new series of Small Animal Clinical Club Evenings, hosted by the Small Animal Teaching Hospital and the Veterinary Postgraduate Unit.

🗓️ When: Once a month from September to July (no sessions in January or August)
🕡 Time: Buffet and refreshments from 6:30 PM, followed by the lecture at 7:00 PM
📍 Where: Leahurst House, Leahurst Campus, CH64 7TE

These evenings will feature a range of informative and engaging lectures delivered by expert teams from across the hospital, offering insights into the latest in small animal clinical practice.

🔍 Each session includes:

  • A networking buffet

  • A clinical lecture on a topical subject

  • An optional guided tour of the hospital

Whether you're a practicing vet, a student, or simply passionate about small animal care, these evenings are a great way to stay informed, ask questions, and connect with fellow professionals.

Thursday 06 November - Multiparameter and Capnography Anaesthesia Monitoring – Complications and What to Look Out For

Join our Anaesthesia Team for an insightful CPD session focused on the use of multiparameter and capnography monitoring in small animal anaesthesia. This talk will explore how to interpret monitoring data effectively, recognise early signs of complications, and make informed decisions to enhance patient safety. Aimed at referring vets and nurses looking to refresh or deepen their understanding of anaesthetic monitoring, the session will provide practical tips, real case examples, and up-to-date best practices for everyday clinical use.
