 Course requirements:

To be accepted onto this course, candidates must

- be GDC Registered

- have a current BLS certificate

- have Professional Indemnity cover (that covers extended duties)

- identify a supervising clinician that will take responsibility for overseeing competency training in the workplace

 *Proof of the above will be a requirement to allow attendance*

Rahat Ali: Consultant in Restorative Dentistry / Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Endodontics, Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

Abdul Rahman Aly: Specialist in Endodontics and Clinical Lecturer, Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

Who Should Attend? The course is aimed at qualified General Dental Practitioners (GDP’S). It meets the new GDC requirements for enhanced CPD. Delegates can attend with an assisting dental nurse to enhance their skills and will receive verifiable CPD for the session.

Aim: To help practitioners improve their skills in rotary endodontics, irrigation and thermal obturation of root canal systems with gutta percha.  A seminar and practical based session, covering endodontic strategies used to manage basic and advanced endodontic cases, as well as endodontic failure. To comprehensively discuss and demonstrate rotary instrumentation of curved canals and gutta percha removal with rotary re-treatment files.
