Via interactive lectures, solidify your knowledge on the complexities of the "third brain" (the gastrointestinal system). During this one-day course we will discuss chronic enteropathies in cats and dogs, dive into the microbiome, gulp down dysphagia, poke the pancreas and settle the stomach with gastroprotectants. A complete transit of the gastrointestinal tract!

Learning Outcomes:

·       Apply a logical and systematic approach to the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diarrhoea in dogs, chronic enteropathies in cats, pancreatitis and oesophageal disorders.

·       Learn when and how to do a faecal microbiota transplant. 

·       Differentiate when it is and when it is not appropriate to use a protein-pump inhibitor.
