Take an action packed, whistle stop tour through the history of ancient Egypt. We begin in the New Kingdom (c.1500 BC) when Egypt creates an empire in the north and south. At home pharaohs begin to be buried in the Valley of the Kings and establish temple complexes. We move to Amarna, the city created by Akhenaten, to honour the Aten.
