We are excited to invite you to a friendly and informal CPD evening focused on The Equine Abdomen. This event promises to be an enriching experience with insightful lectures, delicious food, and ample opportunities to ask questions and discuss cases with our speakers from the University of Liverpool Team and fellow delegates.

Course Description

 

We are excited to invite you to another engaging evening of lectures and delicious food, focusing on the Equine Abdomen.

 

Event Highlights:

• Sustainable Parasite Control: Kick off the evening with Professor Jane Hodgkinson as she provides an update on sustainable parasite control and its application in ambulatory practice.
• Gastrointestinal Conditions: April Lawson BSc BVSc MSc CertAVP(EM) DipECEIM AFHEA MRCVS  will offer a refresher on gastrointestinal conditions that cause weight loss in horses.
• Laparoscopic Surgery: Chris Baldwin BVetMed CertAVP(ESST) MRCVS  will discuss the latest benefits of laparoscopic surgery.
• POCUS: Conclude the evening with Professor Harry Carslake’s MA VetMB DipACVIM Dip ECEIM MRCVS  review on making the most of abdominal ultrasound (POCUS).
