Approximately 1/3 of patients referred through for oncological management of their head and neck cancer within Merseyside will undergo a palliative treatment strategy.  In addition, local relapse rates for those initially treated with radical intent (with HPV negative disease) approach 50%.  

This meeting is designed to encourage members within H&N MDT to attend and engage in disccussing complex decisions regarding patient care.
