Research Methodology Course

This intensive 1 day course, which is accredited by RCSEng, is aimed at medics, surgeons and laboratory staff interested in medical research and provides basic ground work for clinical and lab based research.

Our Research Methodology Courses will be delivered virtually via Zoom.

Course Description

Accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 6.0 CPD points.

 

This course is suitable for medical and surgical trainees and laboratory staff interested in medical research and includes recorded presentations on:

• Medical statistics
• Clinical Trials
• Systematic Review & Meta-analysis
• Considerations when setting up a clinical trial

Presentations have been recorded by statisticians specialising in medical research, senior academic researchers and senior clinical trials unit staff.  The statisticians will be available for Q&A following the presentations.

• How to read a medical paper - interactive session to discuss medical papers. *
