Intermediate Children's Mandarin

LCI is launching an in-person, 10-week Mandarin Chinese language (simplified characters) course for school-age children on Friday evenings. The language class is suitable for all primary school students aged 7-11 years old in the Liverpool area.

Course Description

Using the textbook "YCT 3" lessons 6-10, students will gain a good foundation in Chinese Mandarin. They will master the pinyin system, be able to read 400 commonly used Chinese characters, 12 commonly used sentences, learn basic common Chinese characters and radicals, practice their Chinese writing skills and improve their Chinese expression skills.

Teaching Schedule:

All classes will be held at 126 Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L69 3GR, United Kingdom, from May 2 - Friday, July 4, 2025, between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Please note that sessions will take place on Friday, except for Monday, June 9, which replaces the regular Friday class due to the tutor's prior professional commitments. We appreciate your understanding.

Parents and guardians must remain in the LCI space with their child during each lesson.

Standard Tuition Fee: First child £30, additional children £15 per child
