Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the event delegates will be able to:

       Describe reasons why non-surgical endodontic treatment has failed including causes such as missed canals, unusual anatomy, resistant bacteria, fractured instruments, perforations, inadequate disinfection protocols, coronal leakage and extra-radicular bacteria.

       Plan the management of such teeth using surgical and non-surgical techniques using contemporary techniques and materials.

       Plan future cases to avoid endodontic complications.
