DescriptionOriginally started as a forum for particle physicists to discuss recent developments in lattice gauge theory, especially lattice QCD describing the strong force between quarks and gluons, nowadays the conference is the largest of its type and has grown to include areas like algorithms and machine architectures, code development, chiral symmetry, physics beyond the Standard Model, and strongly interacting phenomena in low-dimensional systems. You will have the option to add on an accompanying guest to one of the excursions at a cost of £20 but if you wish to add on more than one guest this can be done so by emailing Becki Harris on [email protected] once you have registered. AccommodationYou have 2 options for accommodation;
Residence Information for The University of Liverpool: - Accommodation is a single en-suite bedroom and includes bed linen, towels, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Please note we have no Twin or Family bedrooms available on campus. We have a strict no under 16s in our accommodation. - If you have chosen double occupancy please note this is for 2 people sharing 1 bed. - Check In Time 16.00hrs (luggage room facility available if required) - Check Out Time 09.30 hrs - a late check out penalty will be charged - All buildings on University campus are non smoking. - Parking is available at University Visitor Car Parks on a first come first served basis. Charges apply. - Full Payment for B&B required on booking.
Cancellation PolicyUniversity of Liverpool - For cancellations received on or before 28th June 2024 we will charge 50% of the charge for accommodation. - For cancellations received on or after 29th June 2024 we will offer no refund on accommodation but can do a name change. Liverpool Hope University - If you cancel within the below time periods you will be charged % of the fee 5 Months – 3 Months 75% 2 Months – 28 days 90% 28 days or less 100% | |||||||||||||||
