DescriptionThe Herdman Symposium, started in 1973, is the highlight of our calendar. It brings together students and academics from across the UK (sometimes even across Europe and the Atlantic) to hear from leading experts in academia and industry discussing a particular theme. It is very much a cross university effort, with the Herdman Society, the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences, Liverpool Geological Society and Liverpool Guild of Students all helping to organise it. We are always generously sponsored by various organisations and industry partners. The 52nd Herdman Symposium will be held on the University of Liverpool campus on 8th February 2025.
