DescriptionThe theme for this year’s UALL – SCUTREA Conference is GO HIGHER: Lifelong Learning as the heart of sustainable, equitable and future facing universities. Lifelong learning is set to take centre place in a changing educational landscape that places key importance on skills development and learning throughout and at all stages of life. The success of universities in putting lifelong learning at the heart of their strategies will support the Government’s skills agenda and create sustainable and fair opportunities for individuals and communities. The UALL-SCUTREA Conference 2025 is hosted by the University of Liverpool’s Go Higher Humanities Access Diploma which is celebrating its 25-year anniversary. The Universty of Liverpool has a strong record in championing lifelong learning with a Department of Continuing Education which has delivered courses to the community for over 100 years. The conference will consider the future of lifelong learning, demonstrate its impact and importance, and showcase the vital routes into and through higher education that lifelong learning provides. Join us for a warm welcome to the vibrant city of Liverpool, and to the beautiful University of Liverpool campus, for a stimulating three days of sharing ideas and networking with colleagues involved in lifelong learning in all capacities, roles, settings and contexts. Type of registration: You can register by selecting the following option: · Full Conference rate including the Conference Dinner on Tuesday 17th June · Day Rate for each of the days you will be attending (excludes the Conference Dinner)
The 3 course Conference Dinner and Award Presentations will be held at the beautiful Victoria Gallery and Museum, the University’s original red brick building. The capacity is a maximum of 100 guests so you are advised to register early to ensure that you are able to attend the dinner.
