Join writer and creative practitioner Bernadette McBride for this one-day poetry writing workshop at Ness Botanic Gardens, University of Liverpool. Participants will visit the extensive gardens at Ness Botanic Gardens, spread across 64 acres with stunning views of the River Dee and North Wales. The gardens provide the perfect opportunity through unique views of Wales, to think about both Welsh and British poets working with nature-inspired poetry. Participants will engage in selected readings of poems by various British, Welsh, or Welsh-British poets, such as Dylan Thomas, Kate Roberts, Deryn Rees-Jones, and many more.
