This one-day workshop will take a problem-based approach to the practical diagnosis and treatment of cardiorespiratory cases in first opinion practice. 

Speakers are all members of the cardiology team with much experience dealing with cardio-respiratory problems, and we look forward to sharing with you.

Course Description

This one-day workshop will take a problem-based approach to the practical diagnosis and treatment of cardiorespiratory cases in first opinion practice. 

 

The day will be focused on the approach to and management of cardiorespiratory cases.  A series of interactive case discussions, ranging from the straight forward to the complex, will highlight the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges presented when managing these cases.

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate a logical and systematic approach to investigating cardiorespiratory cases and an understanding of the wider diagnostic techniques available including when to refer.
  • Apply a systematic and tailored approach to the treatment of cardiorespiratory cases with increased confidence and competence in the management of these cases in first opinion practice.
