This new workshop will include a mixture of lectures, interactive panel discussions and case scenarios around common infectious diseases and exotic diseases which you don’t want to miss.  We hope to include a practical simulator session on guttural pouch lavage.

Course Description

We are delighted that Richard Newton and Fleur Whitlock from Equine Infectious Disease Surveillance (EIDS), Nic de Brauwere from Redwings and Tamzin Furtado from the University of Liverpool will speak at this workshop. 

The workshop is aimed at practitioners in first-opinion practice, the day aims to provide a refresher and update of your knowledge of infectious diseases and management of outbreaks. You will develop your skills at applying this knowledge to common scenarios and manage the challenges encountered in ambulatory practice.
