A unique opportunity to recover the history and development of Victorian Liverpool through its appearance in stereographs – the 19th century equivalent of 3D photography, this fascinating study day will include a discussion of rare images by stereographers such as Henry Sampson of Southport, Hubert Petschler of Manchester; Adolphe Block, Benjamin West Kilburn and the Keystone Viewing Company. Join us for an appreciation of all things Liverpool, and to see the Port in such a ways that you have probably never seen it before...
