If you have completed a CertAVP or are an Advanced Practitioner, or are an experienced practitioner and feel you are currently working at this level, these modules are a great way to support your CPD requirements for the year or maintain your Advanced Practitioner status. We are also delighted to offer an Equine Veterinary Nursing mini module for nurses.

Contact InformationVpuoffice@liverpool.ac.uk Additional InformationPhysiotherapy Masterclass on the Equine Back and PelvisIn November 2026 we will be offering a Physiotherapy Masterclass on the Equine Back and Pelvis, aimed at both qualified Physiotherapists* and Equine Clinicians looking to refresh their knowledge of the assessment and treatment options available in this common area of practice. The weeks will focus on revising back and pelvis pathology before reviewing current approaches to diagnosis, assessment and initial management from both professional perspectives. Common clinical cases and the principles behind their rehabilitation will be addressed in week 5, and the over-arching theme throughout the module will be one of professional collaboration and the ‘team approach’ to maximise clinical outcomes This fully online CPD mini-module is tailored for professionals wishing to enhance, develop and consolidate their clinical knowledge and understanding in this area. 25 hours of CPD will be delivered across 4 weeks in a fun and interactive way, with online lectures, discussion boards, weekly MCQ tests and 2 live case-based Zoom meetings available to support your learning.
