Course Description


Day 1 (Neurology) is aimed at equine practitioners with an interest in neurology. The course aims to provide practitioners with a practical approach to neurological examination of the equine patient as well as specific guidance on diagnosis and management of patients with headshaking, ataxia, CNS trauma and seizures. The course will be a combination of interactive lectures, hands-on practical sessions and case based discussion.


Delegates are encouraged to bring along videos or examples of cases they have seen to supplement the group discussion. Practical sessions will involve a systematic guide to neurological examination of the equine patient as well as examination of selected neurological cases supervised by specialist speakers.
