The programme will include a comprehensive review of the clinically relevant anatomy to ensure a sound underlying knowledge before focusing on the diagnostic approach to cases typically presented in practice.

 

There will be a session on the diagnostic modalities available with a chance to gain hands-on experience with a practical ultrasound session in the afternoon.

 

There will also be a practical session on radiographic reading to help demystify interpretation and consider the potential significance of radiographic abnormalities.

 

The day will also focus on management of clinical cases to help clinicians develop a considered appraoch to rational therapies and help them to guide their clients in terms of prognosis based on current knowledge and evidence based veterinary medicine.
