Course Description

 

This course has been designed to help eqiune practitioners develop a logical and systematic approach to respiratory disease in the horse.

Disorders of both the upper and lover respiratory tract are considered and the programme is delivered by a panel of specialists with extensive experience of managing  equine respiratory disease.

In the hands on sessions in the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to practice technical skills both on live horses and cadaver specimaens in a relaxed informal setting. Techniques covered will include sinus trephination, collecting respiratory samples by BAL, interpreting respiratory cytology and performing thoracic ultrasound and thoracocentesis.

Guided by experienced speacialists, this course provides the perfect opportunity to further your diagnositic capabilities.
