Course Description

 

Day 2 will include an interactive case discussion session on oral findings and how to treat them, plus imaging and extraction techniques (along with an opportunity to try it yourself under the guidance of our specialist speakers!). Recent advances in equine dentistry will also be discussed along with how to implement current evidence based medicine findings into your own practice protocols.

Delegates should bring their own appropriate light source where available and protective clothing and all other equipment will be provided. Delegates are also encouraged to submit their own cases in advance for discussion in a new “blended learning” approach to this course (further details to follow).

 

This workshop is suitable for all delegates working in equine practice, irrespective of experience, and for those studying to achieve an RCVS CertAVP in equine dentistry or surgery. There will also be an opportunity to discuss preparation for the synoptic examination with candidates. Numbers are limited on this highly practical course so booking early is advised.
