Course Description


This three day multi-professional course focuses on modern and effective ways of teaching in palliative and end of life care. Intensive and interactive, the course provides you with the opportunity to engage with other participants, supported by expert facilitators, allowing you to develop your current knowledge and skills. Topics include:

  • An emphasis on how to teach, not what to teach
  • A unique opportunity for you to examine specific teaching formats
  • Discovering how the KOLB model can be adapted to enhance palliative care teaching
  • Exploring a range of teaching methods and delivery skills
  • Designing and developing learner centred education aimed at specific groups


There are two options for booking this course: residential and non-residential. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis and can be booked under the Extras tab.


Combined Foundation and Masterclass Course

The Foundation Course can be undertaken as a stand alone course or in conjunction with the two day Masterclass Course.
