Course Description

The course provides an overview of the key statistical issues to be aware of when analysing genetic association studies with survival endpoints, copy number variants and rare variants. It also provides an introduction to meta-analysis of GWAS. It also provides guidance on software for conducting the analyses. The course is structured to include a combination of short lectures and computer practicals to ensure that attendees gain hands-on experience of these aspects of genetic association studies.
