Description

How did Christianity become such a dominant force within medieval society in western Europe? Through a historical examination of relevant political and religious themes in Britain and on the Continent, we will trace its spread and development in the post-Roman era up to the late twelfth/thirteenth century in Scandinavia and the Baltics.
